Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to my Pay-What-You-Can Commissions & the Adoptable Bid--I was successfully able to raise enough to buy my bus tickets and it really helped me out. I really can't thank you guys enough!
Commissions are still being worked on--it's a bit of a hassle to get my laptop and my phone (and therefore access to phone wifi, since I don't have a scanner) to the library but I'm sketching as fast and efficiently as I can. Pay-What-You-Can commissions will be posted here, on DA, instead of my sketchblog. I'm probably going to take my sketchbooks with me on my trip, get some doodles done during down time or something...
Which brings me to my next piece of news:
I'm going to ConnectiCon 2014!!
It's no longer a "most likely" or a "maybe," I'm definitely going! I'm only going for a day, so I'll be taking a super-early bus on Friday July 11th, so I can head to the Registration desk as soon as possible, spend my whole day wandering around the con and head back home that night. If anyone is going this year, keep a look out for me and say hi! I'll be the really tall (5'11") black chick dressed in all-black most likely with a large messenger bag over my shoulder and I'll be wearing a badge featuring Stray.
Don't be afraid to tap me on the shoulder or shout out at me (Alexa, Lexi, Lex, Stray and even Fido are all okay!) if you happen to see me (though try to avoid glomping me outright)!
Since this is my first con, I'm just going as an attendee--no cosplay, no fursuit, no table at a Dealer's Room or Artist Alley--just me.
There's a lot of great panels and workshops I can't wait to check out as well as all the cosplayers, fursuiters, various fandom members, and, of course, I'm excited to finally meet one of my heroes!
I'm so excited I can barely contain myself!!!
I'll probably post a few pictures here or on Tumblr when I get back!

Updates, Commissions, etc.
Just giving a quick update for older watchers who have been here + new watchers! Thank you so much for the continued support on my art; every comment, like, & view helps! 💖 :bulletpink: Uploading: Like a lot of people on this site, I haven't had the same love for DA since it switched over to Eclipse (not a fan of the layout or the navigation), but I have too much of an attachment/history with this site to abandon it, so if I'm here it's basically to upload and run. This is also why I don't reply to messages/comments as often. :bulletpink: Commissions: I do still accept commissions, but it's best to refer to my website or Twitter page for info & updates. I do not accept requests or art trades. Plans for 2021

First off, thank you so, so, so much for all the love on my art lately -- they've meant a lot, especially since my uploads have been so sporadic this year, between me switching living situations, kind of neglecting DA after the Eclipse update (I'm getting used to it -- the green layout option helps lol), and the whole 2020 thing. I have a few things planned for 2021, mostly involving my website/commissions, so if you're interested please take a look!: :bulletblue: Commissions: As of right now, I have multiple color options for my pencil and pen sketch commissions, but next year I'm reducing them down to one each -- so instead of having to figure out whether somebody wants something colored in colored pencils, markers, flat color, or sketchy color, they'll be one color option per commission type (i.e. pencil sketches get colored in sketchy colored pencil; pen sketches get colored in sketchy markers; and fully inked art has the option to upgrade to shaded marker

Dude…. the world is so weird. Go figure I just moved back home to North Carolina where I was born, after living in Connecticut for the past 11 years. We were like, right next to each other. I lived in Trumbull and Weston, only an hour from the city and drove into the city all the time to see friends. What school do you go to? Cause I had friends that went to the school of art that was near Grand Central… I can't remember it's name. Maybe you even knew some of them, like Shelley Low…. that'd be crazy. So yeah hi here on DeviantArt too! You rock! Wish I still lived in CT and could hang with you! Next time I come to visit my Dad up there in CT land I am so gonna bug you. <3
