Gargoyles-Tachi headshot

I missed drawing Gargoyles, so I was playing around with designs and I came up with my own version of Tachi (Brooklyn & Katana's daughter), after it occurred to me that her official design still hasn't been released (or possibly even created yet).  Kind of like her older brother, Nashville, I'm so used to seeing fanart of her that I kind of forget that she doesn't have a canon design yet.

She's pretty much a blue Brooklyn in terms of physical appearance--thicker beak than Katana, same forehead horns, four-fingered hands, & kinda the same hot-stuff attitude minus the melancholy lovesickness and more sass.  She also got her father's wild white hair, which curls a little in some places and tends to drape over her shoulders (unlike Nashville, who has straighter, black hair like his mother).  Basically, the only things she inherited from Katana are her eye-ridge spikes and color (and so far I'm giving her one-clawed wings).

As you can see from the sketchblog doodle and this doodle, I'm still messing with her outfit design and colors.  So far I like the grey w/ red lining better than the inverted color scheme, and I'm giving her a waist band or a midriff cloth rather than just a belt--something so she looks a little more modern and set apart from the rest of the clan.

She's a fun character to hash out, so they'll definitely be more of her in the future.

I tried creating a small group shot of my female Brooklyn family members (because, apparently, I've made 3--Tachi (daughter), Whisper (cousin) & "Brooke" (mother)--but my markers dried out and the drawing itself didn't come out too well, so I'll have to try again.  I'm kinda glad I didn't finish it, though, because now I also want to include the male characters (in which there are only 2--"Titan" (father) and "Pinky" (uncle).
