did this shortly after reading Gargoyles Clan Building Vol. 2 for the thousandth time.
that comic!!

I particularly noticed the differences in appearance between Brooklyn and his clone, Malibu, on the page where Al is explaining the story of the mutates to newcomer Shari. (I'll give you guys a page number later...lazy)
I know a lot of the differences were more obvious since the art was in comic form--typically more angled or exaggerated
(though even in the series, Malibu's horns are more twisted and his mouth is sometimes more droppy....plus the obvious differences in color and eyes)

anyway, i don't like this picture completely since i see many mistakes and im still working on Gargoyle anatomy. not to mention this is another 2009 pic, and im starting to see my improvement from 2009 image as i move into 2011
however, i love the concept behind it and may soon try it again

the colored outlines aren't supposed to be neat, btw. originally i had them streaming down from the top of the page like the cover for "The Journey" [link]
But that didn't look right, so I just blacked them out...
